Hello all,
I haven't posted on here in a while, but I know that this thread is well deserved.
A young man died in Bournemouth yesterday morning. As far as I can see no name has been released yet.
He was 18. Police say that speed does not appear to have been a cause of the accident.
I just wanted to show my respects to the young man. I'm 19 and it brought me back down to earth a little, as phone call after phone call came through asking ME if I was ok.
The Bournemouth Echo article can be found here:

If anyone knew the young man, please pass on my respects to his familly and friends.
RIP unknown SV rider, our thoughts are with you.
Ben.

Not good, echos of bluepetes thread still bouncing round our heads when ever we go out lately and something like this just backs it up with that reminder of our mortality.
RIP young man, Im sure you'll be missed.

Oh, what a horrible thing to deal with Amanda, I feel so sorry for his friend, but what a friend to do that and save the family the worry.

Sad to hear! RIP!
Strange that they dont think it was the collision that caused the death and that it might have been another cause!?
RIP
Was there really any need to show his bike lying on its side in the article tho? Words sufficed
RIP poor biker. Thoughts to his loved ones and friends.

RIP, so sad to go so soon. Even worse if it's an underlying health issue. My thoughts to his family and the poor sod who got hit by his bike.
