SV650K1 naked. 03 plate

Spares or repair.

Engine runs perfectly (when given a new battery). Needs new clocks. For those that know, I had a naked pointy clock on it but the reg/rec blew the electrical circuits in it. New pattern reg/rec already fitted.

Bike has been converted to clipons rather than handlebars.

To get it running again it needs a new battery and clocks and the front wiring loom sorted.

£500 no offers.

You get with it

Spare fuel tank with slight couple of dings in it. (RED)
Spare front mudguard (NEEDS PAINTING)
Front wheel (has been polished but not quite finished)
Standard exhaust with connector.
Standard rear shock.
Rear fairing (both sides) Needs painting.
Clutch basket, plates and springs. (2nd hand)

Bike has following extra bits.

Hagon front springs
Gixxer rear shock
Powder coated (black) front forks. Fitted already but never been out on the road.
Undertray
Swingarm

I am sure there are plenty of other things that I have forgotten but ask questions and I'll get back to you.

I am not breaking the bike so please do not ask for individual components from it.

I can trailer it to the buyer if required so long as the buyer covers the fuel costs and live within 50 miles of Bradford On Avon.

Replacing the clocks is not really going to be quick job. I fabricated a bracket to fit the clocks and no longer have those parts. Plus it's not a simple case of plug and play. The wires would need tracing and soldering. This is how I did it before. It is also not taxed or MOT'd. I can't be sure right now but also think it needs either a front hoop or rear. I know one of them is new and the other worn. Pics I'll try to sort out.

I think I'm selling cheap. If anyone bought it they would get close to their money back on the engine and wheels alone if they were to decide to break it. I simply need the cash quite quickly and the easiest way to do this is sell it as it is, cheap. If I get no positive response on here I'll put it on fleabay.

:(

It has too be done I'm afraid. Getting to see my children is more important than the bike. I need to raise cash to pay solicitor fees.

It's ok. Of course you should sell it. I just wish I has the skills, time, tools, garage to be able to do it myself.

Good luck with the sale x

This is a bargain for someone last year I paid 700 quid for a rolling chassis on a 2000 and 2 boxes of bits for my minitwin trackbike, some bits were missing so I needed to source bits. I did get a second set of wheels, tank and carbs but still 500 is a bargain...... If I wasn't so skint I'd buy it to build another.

No worries Carl. I'll send you bank details so you can do a direct transfer into that account. I'll also have a dig around and see what else I have SV related you can have.

Cheers

Si.
