If I remember correctly you're from roughly my neck of the woods, so sat nav may not be necessary. See here

Yep, we're on the way for your intended route to the AR, so it could be a plan, although the EAR has a similar plan to yours. KJ is leaving her area lunchtime ish, so I was going to meet up with her, Jeff and maybe SvRich. I'll be leaving Ipswich with my mate Paul.

Times haven't been arranged yet

The original plan was to ride over on non motorway roads, for a leisurely ride over there on the Friday, which is why I'm using the Sat Nav

I've booked one of those 'volcano flights'.
You get to sleep in a nearby airport for up to 2 weeks till it's a perfectly clear day for landing over all of Britian. :wink:

Just thought.....do you want to send your clothes over here now so they arrive before you do, you won't have to carry them and get them on the hire bike and we can send them back to you after you've left. We have a set of soft oxford panniers and tank bag for you to carry it all in when you are on your travels when not with us :-)

I just checked metcheck and the weather forecast for the actual ride is predictable in an AR sort of way.
