Bought & fitted seat cowl for my blue 04 650s but there's a gap at the back making it look out of place on my bike. Take it that it's for a slightly different model (instructions in french say SV650 & SV1000, take it that means the unfaired models) Therefore seat cowl for sale. Welcome to try before you buy (in Rugby). Looking for around £40 but would rather let it fester in my shed than let it go for too little.

Provided its the pointy seat cowl it should fit fine, unless its a none standard part ie not made by a reputable manufacturer. Have you checked the bolts etc fitting it to the plastic are all correctly spaced and tightened? Could just be that a monkey on the production line missed a spacer or put in an addional one.
Hello mate what paint code is it... Dibs if it's the right colour! :-)

Not sure about colour code. I'll try sticking it back on tomorrow & posting a photo to give some idea. It did sit in place & lock so pretty sure I had it sitting as good as it'd go. If that's right then I'm still up for selling it.

Have you got the infills for where the grab rail would usually stick out?

Okay, assuming I've done this right there should be some photos of it fitted. Having done it again, with a bit of adjustment to the holes it should be a little more snug but that's a little too diy for me.
