I am looking for a new mp3 player, I dont want to play videos or anything on it, in fact the only reason I am looking for a new one is that I want a player that recognizes and allows me to browse folders.

The reason for this is that I have some audio books I would like to listen to; what I would like to do is say get the train to work and listen to music on the mp3, then on the way back from work switch to listening to one of the audio books.

Album listings by themselves would not be suitable because they work via the tag on the mp3 file, which unfortunately when I copy the audio book CD's to mp3's they tend to have lots of spelling errors and to be honest I dont really want to have to rename them all. Therefore I would just like to create a new folder on the mp3 player and dump them all in there.

Any recommendations or advice appreciated.

Playlists is all you need. Create a play list for audio books and roberts your dads brother!

Most of the branded players will do that, even my phone does play lists.

I have an Ipod, but toerhs you could look at included, sony, Cowan, Creative etc.
