Awww...

Although I believe that some states in America allow you to marry your pets, so don't give up hope just yet!

How can it be sick and wrong if love is involved? ;-)

Would love to live with a wolf hybrid, the psychology and hierarchy is fascinating...

Hah! Never has with us so I've no idea how her teeth got like that, she's a rescue and doesn't understand chewing or tug-of-war, she was three years old before she met anyone outside a group of perhaps 10 people, ate dog food rather than human scraps or met another dog that wasn't a ******* yappy terrier thing that used to attack her - to say she was a bit neurotic is an understatement

She's seven now and although she's still what you'd describe as a dog with issues, she's chalk and cheese better, and hopefully happier:cool:

I had one and he was AWESOME! He caused a real problem because he was alpha male and my (then) husband took second place. He used to sleep next to me, between us, on the bed :p
The number of people who used to cross the road away from us when out walking was ridiculous, people are so ignorant.

Unfortunately he had to be returned to the breeder after a couple of years because we split up, my husband didnt want him and I lost the house.

Miss him :-(

My last Labradors teeth went like that in the latter years, but he did live to 16 1/2 which is pretty amazing for a Lab. It was just chewing bones that did it.

I bet:( Lot of people don't understand dogs, let alone something that's close to the original ancestor wolf. I sometimes despair at some of the folks who have collies that I know that have been moved into the sub sections of the pack by simple little things they do, if you know what to look for it's there all the time, even in ours, cheeky beggar...

That's the thing, she doesn't chew anything, not stones, not bones, sticks, not even the chew toys we got her - about the only thing she does is decapitate her squeaky toys and deposit the stuffing around the house and garden with a big grin on her face:D

Mark, you have a beautiful dog there, you know I'm a softie for collies :-)

My parents collie has teeth like that and there's only one thing that can do that that I know of....playing with footballs or rugby balls, the ones with a rough surface. Cody, my folks collie, would dribble the ball around the garden. Just open mouth around the ball and run around the garden, pushing it by her mouth. It actually filed her canines down. She's not allowed to play with them anymore...lol

Ah, she has two of those giant football sized tennis balls, doesn't dribble them around the garden though, just tends to nose punt them back when you throw it to her, she's pretty vigorous about it - has sent it ~20ft along and over a 10ft hedge several times

Oh and Dan, I'm nowhere near old enough to own slippers....

OK I lied, I have a pair of these:

i have a miniature long-haired daschund called Zak and I love him to bits.

Your right TLW, lots of people don't understand dogs, but they are just incredible, i doubt i'll ever go for long without a dog.

Would love a husky and a german shepherd :)

You rotten lot. Please stop talking about your dogs and putting up such lovely pictures.

We lost Katie our Goldie in April and it still feels odd coming down in the morning to find no smiling yellow face attached to a fluffy wagging tail waiting for me.

Another few months of mourning and we'll be on the hunt for a replacement. But in the mean time PLEASE STOP REMINDING ME HOW MUCH I MISS HER!!!!
