I wanna eurotrip!

Ok, so, I am aware that there are sheetloads of threads about places to go.. I was wondering if someone could save me an evening in front of my monitor..

I really want to tour in August, a few weeks, minimal costs. This will be my first time, and I frankly don't know where to start. I was thinking, if I could get some recommended places to stay, I could pin them all on a big map, and connect-the-dots and voila.

I'd quite like to visit (clockwise circle..ish):
Lille
Amsterdam
Berlin
Nurembergring!!
Austria...somewhere
Rome
Alps/Switzerland/southern France?
Back to England or sumsheet..

Probably sounds quite arrogant, like I don't know what Im doing. Please tear my plans apart, advise places to go and stay. And if anybody'd like to come, that's be great too!

+I like spontaneity. I don't want to set any route to a T (whatever that means), but I'd like to know which roads are definitely worth taking!

Avoid Holland, the roads are sh1te, overctowded and over policed, the UK feels empty in comparison.

Work out what you want to see/visit/ride as a highlight, if you've only 1 week inc ferries etc. the above is never going to be possible.

There's always room for spontaneity, but a little planning helps the general direction.

Otherwise for a random route, come off the ferry, take evry 10th right and every 11th left.

Cool then, I will avoid Amsterdam... You have any recommendations of places to stay? The highlights would be the places themselves..

France is good I've heard. Plan a route down South using cheapo hotels, then you don't need to take much gear. Roads are good and drivers are v good toward bikers.

Get off the autoroutes

Otherwise Germany, around the Hartz mountains. Lovely roads
