Evening folks, just thought I would say hello.
Looking to buy an Sv650 so I thought I would come on here to find out the things I should look out for.
I'm used to sorting problems on bikes, I currently have three of these-

It's kinda sad when you see people saying that :( but at least it'd go to a good home.

Anyway, welcome to the forum. Lovely little bike you got there, although it must drink oil like no tomorrow. Save money and get an SV, it takes little sips.

Welcome to the Org!

the most important thing to remember when buying any SV is to buy the superior Curvy model. ;)

Only if it is a red post office one, they give the most power ;)

Thanks for the offers of bikes for sale, I'm actually going to see one a mate has for sale, if that falls through I'll come looking on here.

Don't listen to these maniacs telling you to buy a curvy...

Pointy is the way forwards!

Actually, if I had the skill and the money, I would love to put pointy body work on a Curvy frame. Would look lush.
