Mst unfortunately I will be accompanying Mrs. Viper to a Westlife concert at Ashton Gate so will not be able to join you I'm afraid. Was hoping Stretchie would drop off and pick up to save us the parking/txi costs, but I'm guessing he'll want to play out with you!

Hahahahahahaha, you guys are hilarious. I'm doing Lou a favour. It was her birthday wish to go and she couldn't unless she found someone to go with, so I said I would.

I'm readying myself for a couple of hours of ballads and screaming teenagers. Going to need to raid Hovis' music cabinet for the next few weeks :-)

I'm very sad I missed it, but have to say that despite my reservations, Westlife put on a pretty good show last night. Didn't actually do much of their own stuff....they did Black eyed Peas, Beyonce...all sorts.

I loved it because I got be a biatch due to them messing up our tickets. Damn right they put us where we should have been, 5 rows back from the stage so Lou almost fainted! Best was towards the end. A woman in front kept trying to get up on her chair to get a picture which would have totally blocked the view for us all.....she turned to do it, I poked her in the side and just said, "uh...NO" like I was talking to a kid about to run into a road...my best deep and authoritative tone...lol. Her face was priceless. She must have been well into her 50's and looked like a child being told off. LOVE IT!!!!!

Glad you all had a good ride...I'll have my bike on the road by lunchtime and will have until 4pm to play out if anyone fancies meeting me here and doing the first half of the Squirrel_Hunter redundancy route :-)

Westlife put on a pretty good show last night.

Nice little run down to the coast. And thankfully no one fell off, no one forgot their side stand, and no one got pulled on the way back. I think this counts as a success.

We also made it to Scallys in time for the hog roast. Very nice. So nice I had two.

On an unrelated note, I swear my leathers are shrinking...

All I can add to the story from last night is that as an old bag, it looks really good for me to be waved at and met by a group of fit young men on motorcycles! Especially when we have our friend Ruth with us who is young fit and blonde (also single, so any nice young ladies who are interested, drop me a message and I will swap her for Kawasaki!).

Once again, my lovely SV was stolen last night and I was relegated to the CG125. However, she did forget her fags and had to ride off home to get them. When she came back to the pub, she managed to prove herself as an advanced skills instructor and all round good girl by roaring up to Scallys while waving with both hands off the bars and grinning like an escaped loony! Naughty Carol, she will get a spanking later! :D

Well the excuse I have for missing this one is.... err.... lame..... I couldn't get the bike out, still can't, the garage door is broken and will not open, well certainly would not close again if forced. I just got the parts to try and fix it. Soo maybe I'll be out to WSM next week.......
