Speaking to cumfy just now and think it's a good idea that we organise a quick meet up next week to sort out fridays run.

Weds at the Holburn Bar 7.30pm as some of you have suggested that Thurs is no good for meeting in the past. At least this gives us a day to let anyone know about the details that can't make the meeting.

Let us know if you can't make the weds meeting and the info will be relayed to you before friday so that you are aware of meeting time/place/route etc.

Just looked at one of the other GM posts, have folk tried packing their bikes and do they need anyone to carry extras for them??? Might be able to help them out as Sheps will tell you, I have too much room on the bike.

That first route looks good. Nice bit of road, for with either of them really. Nae sure if Ill be able to make Wednesday night. Gonna need my rest as ill be in Edinburgh all day thursday, and then a night out down there.
So doubt Ill be ready to leave before 1-2ish by the time i get back up the road and ready to set off.

Hey diz, that first route was the one that i had looked at doing, loolks like a decent run and some great roads. also, pretty much the most direct route!

We did that route last year, nice and pretty quick with plenty petrol stops and more importantly FOOD for Sally :D

OK folks, the way Friday is looking to pan out s that due to the large number oif us coming from all different directions there will be staggered meet points until Banchory. The meet point is my house at 12 noon.

The reason for this is that we can head up to the HH and grab a bite to eat for about an hour, then head across to Pitlochry and have our next scheduled stop for 15 mins and fuel if required. Then its off down to the green welly refuel for the rideouts the following day. Round to the campsite for about 4.30 to sort our kit and pitch tents and get into the social side before it gets close to grub time(which I think might be about 7ish?!)

So my house 12noon. Braemar HH 1pm -2pm. Pitlochry 3pm. Campsite and refuel 4.30pm Simples and with plenty fuel stops for those requiring.

Any other questions post them quick smart or text me.
