I have just found out that my kids have their sports day on friday so looks like I will be attending that then setting off.
I expect to get there about 7 ish.
What time are you folks expecting to get there?
Working friday and setting off after that. So judging from last time - well after 8pm I guess. All i know is 7 days from right now, I hope to be on the mainland!
Come on GM3!!!! :smt041:smt041:smt041:smt041:smt041:smt041

Sometime around 4 for us, hopefully. Depends what time we wake up on friday morning. If it's like normal, we'll be raring to go by 5am and no sleepy Smeghead to have to get up this time! :p

We're hoping to get off for 7am but no idea how long it will take us as we're going the scenic route. We will however be on our own so with any luck before nightfall :-P
Once I've stopped cooking! - so depends when i get up and when my visitors are about

It gets dark about 11, so Chris doesn't really have to fettle those lights - it'll be light again about 3am. ;)
Have a good'un, folks.
Got the friday off - woo hoo. The beauty of being a council worker so I'll probs go for a blast then head over for late afternoon :p

The bridge is only good for 3 tons Quiff, so you might need to remove a couple of your huge shiny red freight containers before going on the bridge.

I'm not even sure he can get through that gap with his massive saddlebags on, CF. Still I suppose LP did it and he's got massive ones too! :p

SV Ecosse really needs a dictator. "Who would like to organise next years GM, hands up please? Right, you with your hand up in the blue jersey, you're doing it, the rest of you foxtrot oscar"
Anybody want to volunteer to be the dictator? :smt082
....this scene.....

Thanks for the Grant! I see they've improved the entrance by tarring it all the way up to the bridge. Should help.
Aaaaaargh, the flashbacks begin!!!!!!!!!! :pale:
The scene of my downfall, I remember it well! 15th Aug 2008, about 21.30hrs, weather - pish all the way down.
Who was it that was walking past when i was picking the bike up? Maybe CombatFred and someone else? I seem to remember i was a bit short with you, so I'm sorry about that. I was so fakkkin pi$$$$ed off at myself. The wooden surface caught me totally offguard.
Bungs did the job though. Only lost my offside barend mirror, which was a major PITA on the rideout. Still have it as a memento! Didn't break the glass so no 7yr bad luck curse at least...see, i'm an optomist!
So yep, respect the bridge folks. :smt018

I'm confused about this as well. I was asked to lead if Dean wasn't able to make it and now he can't. I think dean thinks this as well as it's mentioned in another thread I've been handed the dayglo waistcoat. Nobody's said anything to me about it recently - maybe it's assumed it is me leading? Maybe I've missed something in other threads. I'm more than happy for someone else to do it. Can someone clear up 'my' confusion.

Well maybe that's still the case then, don't listen to me, I'm not involved and should keep my mouth shut really.
