If you were gonna fit pazzos to your bike what would you fit?
Im thinking about some for my trumpet sprint but cant decide on black or gold (to match the gold on front brake disc) or stubby or normal.
Cant remember riding a bike with stubbies so not sure they would be for me.
Thoughts please
I would go for black stubbies with gold adjusters.
I only use two or one finger to brake anyway. I guess if you are used to full on four finger usage you may prefer normal length ones.

Not really sure what i use tbh, sometimes i use one or two fingers sometimes not, probably depending on how fast i plan on stopping;)
I was thinking black with some gold, i was worried the full gold might be a bit over the top as i like subtle not in your face type of things.

ive ordered some cheap ones from china, will find the link and post in a bit. ppl on the GJ forum got some months back and say they are fantastic, look exactly like pazzo's and apparently even have the same pazzo serial number on them just not the pazzo stickers. loads of ppl have since got them and all have given great reviews and they only cost £30 +p&p which is a dam sight easier on the bank balance than pazzos

Cheers mate, id be interested, but i prefer quality, so id be interested in your opinions of them as dont wanna buy ones that feel crap and break in a few months under normal use.
I'll hold out then for your feedback.

Your link doesnt allow you in to view the page just the login page.
That ebay shop doesnt have trumpet ones, i have sent him a message to see if he does.
Ps i see the thread title pixies have been to work again...
The Chinese things look cheap IMHO. I have the kosher article - I have a graphite bike, and I have titanium shorties with gold adjusters. Very nice product, and the gold is just enough to pick up the other gold bits and bobs. Nice feelthrough them, the only slight downside is with the clutch - in town I find my left wrist gets a bit achey because there isn't much leverage.
I like mine a lot, glad I changed them. Not cheap but it really is a beautifully finished product.

Special one - look at Mrmeerkat's thread on stubby levers. They appear to be okay and about £100 cheaper than pazzo.
Black stubby all the way by the way...

Same as me Ed, im not a fan generally of cheap stuff cos it normally works out a false economy.
But having said that just because your paying top money doesnt always mean your getting top product, but it does increase your chances.
I dont think this guy does them for my sprint anyway so probably work out i get the real deal ones anyway.

I will post some pics when i get them, meant to be well finished and just as nice as pazzo's. can just about justify spending £40 on these cant say pazzos at full rrp are worth it

longshot but might be worth googling if any other levers fit the sprint. I know the sv is pretty interchangeable.
Depends what matches really and what you perfer, i got black titax levers on my SV which i really like the look of, stuby or regular legnth again is personal choice, i hate the idea of using 2 fingers for a clutch and although i vary on how many fingers i use for my brake i still perfer the idea of being able to use all 4 if needed

Ok, girly question....what is the benefit to getting pazzos??
Depends, theres more than just pazzo's, but basicly feel, looks, adjustability, looks, thats it really
Here ya go. Can't say how pleased I am with em. Quality bit of kit:cool:

I can't resist these two. My bike as of a few minutes ago. Apologies for having a filthy bike but this bike gets ridden, not washed:p

I stick with cheap/original pattern style, my fingers can reach and they're a lot cheaper to replace if it all goes wrong. Some of those flip up type may be useful though.....

Girly reasons. i.e main reason I can see is aesthetics. I've ordered some in the hope they're further from the bar than standard ones (on full adjustment) - they look it but haven't a clue, if they aren't then atleast they'll look prettyful

I'd normally go for black levers (and Brembo) although Ed's brushed/matt levers look really good.

I would use pattern if they were free! A guy I race with, replaced his bent lever with a pattern one, went out and did half a lap before the bike tried to throw him over the handle bars because the brakes had seized on.
Came back in and we spent a whole day stripping and bleeding to try to figure out why the brakes kept seizing. Turned out to be the crappy pattern lever that was pressing in the master cylinder slightly.
I currently have 1 Pazzo clutch and 1 CRG folding brake on my bike. As soon as the pazzo gets damaged, I'm planning on swapping it out for a CRG folding. The pazzo are so strong that in a crash, they ended up bending the perch rather than snapping! That's the main reason for swapping to folding levers.
Shorty Pazzo Brake:

Shorty Pazzo Clutch:

Folding CRG long:

Long Pazzo Clutch:

I also swapped from using shorties to full length levers. You can still use 2 fingers if that floats you boat, but you get better leverage with a full length lever.

MBK- I fitted Pazzos to my street triple because they are adjustable and only my brake lever came as adjustable for some reason! I love them, and make it much easier doing town riding.

I agree about the stubby clutch lever, not sure id like that now i have heard some input.
Like one of you said at least with a longer lever you can still use 2 fingers if you like.

Both my levers are adjustable now though, but im doing it for looks, i think black with some gold adjusters would improve the looks, as normal levers can look a bit neglected in the design dept.

Go for CRG. In my opinion, a little bit nicer than Pazzo!

You can't put a price on da bling! :)
I bought my single lever off US ebay and it was much cheaper than British Customs.
