someone posted a link to a u.s adventure bike forum where the guy was a pro at this -some fantastic shots .

just put the camera in an accessible pocket or on a lanyard and snap away . not advisable taking your eyes off the road though so will have to take near blind shots. camera would need a fast shutter speed too I'd guess.

Have it in the tankbag. I'd put it on a lanyard so you can drop it straight back in if needed.

i would put this in the tank bag but ive lost one of the securing straps!!! so no tank bag for me :(

how big is it? i wouldn't expect to be able to operate a small compact with a glove on. Equally a large SLR might be a bit unstable swinging around on a neck strap. If it's sort of medium size, i'd just put it on a shortish neck strap.

I'd prefer one I could use with my left hand but there ain't many of these.

Meh, if I tried this, it would be an absolute reciepe for disaster...! Definately AT LEAST a broken camera, possible broken bike and/or broken MBK....

Easiest option would be to mount a camera, and just take the stills from the video :)

But surely, the Milky Bar Kid is strong and tough... :p

Re the OP's question, what about some kind of mount with a remote switch, sort of like what photographers use. Strap/tape/glue/mount the camera to the screen or the tank etc, have a remote switch to take photos and bam, you can do as you please. Could even get one of the cameras with the manipulatable screen for ease of viewing.

Done it plenty of times, with images to prove it.

Wouldn't do it on a camera, too big, too many buttons. Mobile phone though, out, open, press camera button, press again to take photo.

Done it a plenty, only on motorways though.
