Everything is good to go.

I have set up a charity bank account for Help for Heroes and a Paypal account to get the money in for them.

I will be taking official ORDERS here for the calendar:

The calendars will be £8.90 if ORDERED, buying one later will cost you £10.

Of course if you wanted to donate more than £8.90 then all funds submitted to the account go to H4H.

I will also be having an official launch party BBQ and rideout when I get final print dates so keep your eyes peeled for a link on this thread.
Hopefully some of the girls can make it too and sign copies.

If you cannot make the BBQ, the calendars will be posted to you or you can collect them at the AR10, for those who go to Soho or Hell, I can bring some down then.
If you want the calendar/s to be posted you will be charged a post and packaging fee.

How it works:
1) PM me on this site, stating:
- How many calendars you are ordering
- If you will be collecting or if you require them posting to you

2)You will receive a reply with details of
- Paypal account
- Request for address if posting required
- Total including p&p (where appropriate)

3) You will deposit the money into the Paypal account referencing your USERNAME (to avoid confusion)

4) Once the funds are in your order will be set aside for you to either collect or will be posted to you

The above will obviously be subject to change if I have omitted anything.

Thank you again for the support x

Do you want to stick to the Paypal system for accounting purposes or would cash at the BBQ or AR complicate things?

Von Teese
26-06-10, 04:27 AM
I think that sticking to Paypal would probably be the best option Nige, however if anyone wants to purchase more calendars or give any donations at the BBQ, then I will accept cash.

Ordered calendars will take priority, if there are any left over after that I will bring them to the AR to sell (remember they will be £10 each then).

Thanks to everyone who has placed orders so far, I am hoping that we can raise at least £1k for H4H.

One for me please Jen!

Where do you live? 'Cos I might come and collect on one of my days off. Went to Scarborough the other day and back, so distance isn't an issue.

Pete ;)

What????
They are giving police days off now?????
What is this world coming to, makes me almost wish I hadn't left....NOT!

I am awaiting a completion date from the printers and then will set the date for a launch BBQ, get-together and mini rideout so you can come and collect it then, its likely to be mid July I hope.

If you cant make it to the launch, you are always welcome to come and pick it up and pop in to see the zoo anytime x

Thanks to all who have placed orders for their support x

Just an update, all the photos and layout were acceptable to the printers and a proof has been completed.

Once I have weighed it and obtained a price for postage, I will send all those who have ordered and requested postage their final totals and await their payments.

When payment has been made, the calendar will be posted to you, unless of course you have opted to pick up at either the BBQ, the AR or at a meet I am attending (eg: soho etc), whereby in that case, your forum name will be put on the order and they will be put aside for you.

Orders will take preference and if all calendars are sold out before the AR then unfortunately no more will be printed.

A quick reminder: prices for pre-order will be £8.90, if you purchase one after this time it will be £10.

Depends what you've been doing with it...
Hahahaha! I was going to write the exact same thing.

Got the proof copy today and will go and weigh it and get a price at the post office for posting costs. I will buy some Mail Lite padded envelopes to put them in and then calculate the total costs.

Have started a thread re: Calendar Launch Rideout and BBQ (http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=154471)

Been frantic to get the last few glitches sorted out for this (there were a few bits on the proof I didnt like and they had to be fixed asap - Thank you to Kalessin and Rictus (who pulled an all-nighter) to sort this lot out on the tecchy side for me.

They will be printed by the end of the week.

I weighed the proof at the post office and the results are the postage prices:

UK:

1st Class: £2.24
2nd Class: £1.95

Europe:

£2.37

New Zealand / America:

£3.96

The Post office envelopes seem to be the cheapest ones I can get (£1.59)
-The mail lite ones work out around £3.50 each!!!

I will be sending the P&P charges and totals to you who have ordered for postage at some point today or tomorrow.

Still waiting for paypal address...how much for two to uk?

Von Teese
04-08-10, 05:03 PM
Sting, I thought I sent you the account details.
Im not using paypal as they charged 54p per calendar and so I am putting it straight into the account.

2 calendars will cost £8.90 each and the post and packaging is just under the next price up so it is the same as if you bought one (£2.24) plus the cost of the envelope (£1.59)

Total for 2 posted to UK = £21.63

Bluefish
04-08-10, 05:15 PM
£11.63 for one posted? still waiting for details :(

There should be a few left over to buy if you get in quick enough.

I have a number of people who have ordered one but not paid.

If they havent approached me to pay and pick up their order (aside from the people who have actually notified me that they will be doing this), then those calendars will be sold.
