Oil consumption

I've done about a thousand motorway miles over the past month or so, most at higher speeds than I'd normally do (not saying any more than that !!!).

I noticed that the oil level had dropped slightly - it took about 100ml to bring the level back up. Do SVs use a little bit of oil if they're subjected to prolonged high revs ?

Only asking because I've never noticed that before - its not making any funny noises or anything like that ...

it'll use some oil in a thousand miles sitting at 80-90mph

Some use a bit, some don't.
