Quick question guys.

Where can I find the paintcode on the SV?

Please don't say on the underside of the tank, as that's long gone!

What year and colour is it?

Someone here may know it.

On the offchance it's a black curvy search for threads started by me

If you have your service book look in there, mine has it on the front page

Tried Colour-Rite. Rubbish!
Doesn't have a yellow for my year!?!

2001, and it's yellow.

I know there are 2 shades. Partly because the previous owner bought the wrong shade when purchasing the lower fairings and seat cowl!

Mine's the brighter yellow of the 2.

Indeed, it makes a statement. It's an allegory for our post industrial decline and the rise of the far eastern economies... Dontcha think :)

Sorry for the bump,

Can someone tell me which shade the '99 curvy dark blue is? Ordering fairings and need to make sure it's the right colour!

Thanks!

Yea I think so but the breaker wasn't sure if the panel they had was Candy Grand or Candy Jay. Hopefully it's Candy Grand as it's far more popular but fingers crossed!

Candy Jay only ran as a production colour in 98 and 99.

Googlecave results in LP's post on this http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=84266&page=2

Yeah, both bikes are '99 though so there's a slight chance it's the Jay, but hopefully not!
