View Full Version : Argh, it's here!
My black 05 sv650 (nekkid;)) has just arrived, I popped home from work at lunch to meet the delivery guy.
The annyoing thing is that its now gotta live in my garage until at least the 30th July :smt092 Silly riding school promised me cancellations that I couldn't get in the end, and had I cancelled my test for tomorrow so that I didn't lose the money the other week!
Now I can't get a test until 30th of July as I'm going on holiday for two weeks and the next available one is right at the start of it :(
Why do I ever listen to other people?!
Oh well. Looks like there will be many nights of cleaning it ahead of me, and at least I have a new exhaust to fit this weekend to keep me occupied - for an hour.
Roll on test day! (Hope I pass!)

Welcome to the forum! Just remember that most of the fun is in waiting :)
Waiting is something I'm not good at! I hate it!
I'm not good with temptation...

Phone up the centre to get a cancellation. A lot of slots go empty.

I've only got another three months before I can think about riding my new bike. I've only had to sit and start at it for the last two
Your time will soon pass, then the fun begins :-)

Join the club! My 01 650S is currently in the garage, waiting for me to get a re-test. It's horrific having to go past it every day to my push bike... :smt092

I don't have a test to pass, which is much much more frustrating.

It could be worse. At least you will get some of the summer to ride once you pass your tests. Patience is a virtue, riding with out a license or insurance may get you into a big pile of poo that prevents you from riding for a lot longer.
It will be worth the wait, trust me, I waited over two years to ride my SV and then passed my test in April. No stopping me now, I love my bike. :D

I've been bikeless for 2 weeks, while i waited for parts from the states. But i GET IT BACK TUESDAY!!! WOO.
To make it even worse, my battery is flat lol :( I can't even hear the beast. I started it up earlier and me being a typical cage driver - left the ignition on (so obviously the lights were on!)
I have the test center's number dizzy and i ring up daily for a cancellation but none at the moment sadly. Fingers crossed I get one, but I suppose I can wait :) Will make it feel more worth while!
How come you have to wait Dizzy?
Good luck with your retest Jamesy. Do you mind if I asked why you failed the first time? How did you find the test?

I have to wait as I'm six months pregnant.
I have one SV on SORN, one SV thats being used by my other half, the alarm has just given up on(fecker didn't appreciate a new battery) and a brand new VRaptor, that I've ridden round the block a month ago, that I am dying to get my mitts on.
Can't even do my polishing or cleaning as I can't wheel em out of the shed......pah who would love motorbikes eh??
Ah hope all goes well for you! Just found couple of months ago out my sister is 4 months pregnant - im too young to be an uncle!
