I wasn't sure if this should go in here, or the wante section, but if this isn't the place for it then could Admin please move it?

Are these readily available? Do I need to go specifically to Suzuki?

I changed my chain and sprockets today and I noticed that one of the rear sprocket bolts has seen better days, it seems it may have been cross threaded at some point so I want to change it.

Has anyone had to change one before? If so, where did you get the bolt(s) from?

I have looked for high tensile bolts for a rear sprocket before on a Yamaha and struggled to find anything with a non-threaded shoulder short enough. I ended up ordering OEM stuff from a Yamaha dealer.

I managed to get sorted through a Suzuki Dealer. Cost me about £6 for a nut and bolt.

I used Northeast Motorcycles at Durham and was happy with them.

£6 sounds about right for a oem nut and bolt (still eyewatering)

Just as a side, suzuki are doing a reduced rate months on selected consumable parts like gaskets and bolts (i think) and its expected to be the sv's in september/ october!
