Hi, first post here!
As title, just bought an SV and I've got it stripped down, in primer ready for a professional respray. It was canyon yellow, but im toying with the idea of a colour change....
So, if I can't make my mind up, what are the most sought after colours?
Cheers,
Southgate.

canyon yellow
Mine is black, but it shows all the marks.
I would pick, Red or stay with the Yellow as a 2nd choice.

id go with a different yellow, just so no change be needed on the log booky
Starting from scratch, you might as well go for a completely non std colour, like green or orange. 8)
It can't be that difficult to change the colour on the log book surely
ETA I meant a proper orange*, sorry 2Hys, but that's ginger.
*like Kwak or Focus or Audi. Or even Dynorod :D

Changing colour on V5 is easy and free. Just send V5 to DVLA with changes listed.
What do ya'll think of gunmetal grey? Thinking of resale value as well as what I like
Sell it, buy a pointy, preferably K3 preferably silver

Bloke I was speaking to yesterday said yellow ones hold a slight premium - any truth in that?

I concur
I reckon the darker of the 2 yellows is the best of the standard colours, bodywork wise... But the silver frame makes it look a bit wishy washy. Black frame and yellow plastics looks absolutely brilliant on the curvy. Assuming you're sticking with a standard frame then the darker colours give it the same sort of contrast so black and the nice blue.

not being funny get a swatch of colours from b&q and put it up to the bike and see what floats your boat
Like an umbrella graphic or something similar.
