I know that the Sv is vibey anyway but is there anyway i can reduce the vibrations in the throttle as it gives me terrible pins and needles when riding long distances and means i cant feel the brakes very well :?, not fun if i am filtering.
Any surgestions would be appriciated.

it could be as simple as loosing the wrist strap on your gloves, lots of people do them to tight which cuts circulation

And drop your elbows a wee bit... makes a big difference.

If I relaxed anymore i think i would be sleeping on the tank, but I will take it in to conciduration, thanks Huwbee ;-)
You too DaveP, have already noted that, and it does help a little but still get it on long trips.

So if you ever see a black 650s with its rider doing power fists in the air or fist clenching you will no its me :-)

stoner suffers from arm pump, maybe he also grips too tight...

all kidding aside, stompgrips are great for getting the weight off your wrists

I put on some motrax grips which had a lot of flexible rubber on them which did help, as DP said though have you gear around by the wrists as loose as you can as this will make a difference, slight drop of the forearms and all should be ok.
Im talking from experience here btw, i put higher bars on in the end cos sometimes i was getting it after 20 mins riding, but im not you.
That made a huge difference.

I get the same problem but with my right foot and lower leg....had to actually pull over last time I was on the bike. Might start wearing DVT socks...lol

I just ride along with my foot out front when i get leg ache, goes after a couple of mins for me normally.

Yeah, I usually do, it's been worse since getting the new leathers as they need wearing in...lol

Changing to higher bars helped a lot for me. Took away the pressure from my palms and wrists. Now I only have to worry about the seat which gives me numbness in the bum and legs because it doesn't let blood circulate that well to the lower part of the body.
Also, I've noticed that gloves make a difference. When I got them at first, they were a bit tight and that would cause numbness as well. It went away with time, as they loosened...

I guess since you already took out the easy causes such as holding on too tight, bad positioning of the levers (which would force your hand in a twisted position), you're only left with the vibration itself and the fact that you still have a large portion of your weight on your hands to make sure you feel that vibration and restrict blood flow. Maybe stompgrips would help, but that will put more pressure on your back. As long as that's not a problem, you should try it (plus they have other benefits from what I've read about them)
