Oil leaking from pipe!

Noticed oil under the bike on the gear side today, think its coming from a black pipe that hangs down just next to the idle adjuster. Is this pipe meant to be capped off? And where is the oil coming from? ( where does the pipe connect to?)

Sounds like its coming from one of the breather pipes to the air box.

No, it shouldn't, has the pipe perished and leaking a bit of oil, or has it just become detached from the airbox

Lift the tank & take off the air box. I think there's 3 hoses connected to the airbox, plus at least another one which is not connected to anything, which should be capped IIRC
