Update from SVStorm

Hello Folks
Well it has been a challenging year and have had lots of changes at work and in my personal life after the last few years. I have a great job and really love the company I work for but I have been getting itchy feet.

So......I have decided to pack in the job in October (much to my manager’s disappointment) and go travelling. :smt026

I am in the process of furthering my skills in Scuba diving and am almost finished with my Dive master qualifications. I am then going to start my travelling off in Dubai at the end of October. I plan to stay in Dubai for 6 months where I am lining up a job with the local scuba diving school who will help me gain a bit of diving experience and help me become an instructor. I will then see where I feel like going next :)

It is all very exciting but scary at the same time, but I know it is all going to be great.

I will be selling everything I own and if anyone is interested in household stuff, cd's, dvd's, etc then let me know. I need to have everything gone by mid October. I am also going to sell my beloved Curvy but will only be doing so after the AR so if anyone knows of anyone who needs any of the above please let me know. I am based in Coventry but travel around a fair bit with work.

Please PM me and I can send a list of what I have. Anyone interested in my Curvy can have a look at the AR if you are going or we arrange something else another time. If not sold after AR I will post in For Sale section anyway with some other bike stuff too.

Thanks to all the friends I have on here who have been a great support through all that has been going on (You know who you are) :grouphug:

I'm glad you are following your heart, besides will be nice to meet up with you in Thailand or somewhere warm and nice.

And if you ever feel worried you're making the right decision - either while away myself, or from talking to the many people I know who've done that sort of thing since, I have never found a single person who regretted taking off and doing some travelling...

Cool, I hope it all works out well for you, I wanted to up sticks and disappear for a year a two years ago, was hoping to do a TEFL and 'teach my way around South East Asia'
