I'm certainly not the most experienced but my thought processes are:

Does it tick over ok?
Possibly carp in the tank/fuel filter/carbs?
What speed does it happen, how often?
Do clocks stop working during this bogging down? I.e does rev counter drop to 0?

Last thing you want is carp in your tank. I had a similar problem and found this fella in there!

I heard they swim about and help keep the fuel fresh?! Personally I drop a couple of Guppies in once a week ;)

Mine does this if the front plug has got wet. I know we've had no rain for ages, but just check the drain hole (right side) on the front cylinder is not blocked and they'res no water sitting in there?

Spray some WD40 down the plug tunnel

Washed the bike recently?

Thats a beaut the tank would be the ideal size (brine provided every 110 miles) :smt036

Does it only happen at a certain rpm?

If so, a wild guess could be the foam underneath the tank.

I had a similar thing, my front ignition lead was slightly cracked. The power would cut in and out, felt like there was no fuel. Definately check the leads.

I had a similar thing and it was due to moisture in the fueling system somewhere. Wynn's Dry Fuel sorted it

clocks still work power just dies or a seond but bike still runs, bike aint been washed in ages lol, only getting about 40mpg at the moment. normally does it when going along about 30-40mph and tick over is ok, about 1500rpm.

when was riding today when it done it i gave it lots of throttle and it was just powerless and stayed the same speed sounded like fuel starvation then i let off throttle and on again and was fine
