Hi,

does anyone know where i can get exhaust gaskets that fit from pipes to exhaust? (not cylinder to pipes, putting after market exhausts on so want new gaskets) ???

I didn't bother with gaskets. No leaks. I did make and fit some taper packers to angle the cans up slightly and slotted the attachment hole at the hanger.

From what I've read I'm sure a lot dont bother, just use a link pipe + jub clips?

Read somewhere about using kitchen sealant...I'll eagerly await to see if my memeory serves correctly.

It's a different attachment for thou's. They are flanged and bolted with quite a larger mating area ( oh err ) so seal easily.

Stock special edition GSXR Anniversary colours. Treat yourself. Davepreston is selling his with tasty extras in for sale section.

Use the old gaskets and a bit of silicone sealant, just in case. I've re-used mine a couple times when swoping for the MOT, no probs.

Well...........last week was the first time I'd used the sealant. Thought I'd try it because I'd re-used the gaskets a couple of times. Can't see it being a problem as long as you don't go overboard.

I know others on here have used it before.

I would just use the old gaskets and not bother with sealant.

I never had the gaskets for mine and don't use sealer. Seem to just tighten up nicely all on their own. Get a slight black mark on the swing arm on the right hand one so clearly not a perfect seal but does not seem to cause a problem and seals itself with soot over time anyway.

Or you can get them on ebay. Not sure if these are pipe-can or head-pipe so never bothered in the end.
