HOWEVER the picture of the product actually shows the cover to be kind of a bright blue... the colour to the eye is more like this one

Do you have any pictures of it on your SV?
Also what is the fit like to the tank?

Hi
I won't be able to get any pictures of the cover on the tank until after the weekend... my tank is away on holiday getting a black tan ;) , but im told I should have it back for Sunday
The moment its back I'll take a couple. As the cover is specifically made for the tank it should be snug and the inner lining is like a soft fabric to protect the paint work. Protecting from petrol spills and also giving bagster bags something to anchor to. If It was black I wouldn't be selling it... if it doesn't go I'll probably get a company to redye it as it might be £10 cheaper than buying a new one... (I've never actually used it myself, it came with the bike)
Like I said though, pictures will follow.

Thankyou very much
Personally I'd just dye it yourself if you wouldn't be getting rid of it - it's easy enough to do, just requires a bit of elbow grease.
Had an expensive pair of light tan nubuck walking boots and managed to spill engine oil from a land rover on them, couldn't get rid of the stains, so did just that. They looked great when finished.
For the cover you'd need acetone to remove the shiney finish, black dye, black restorer and polish. Could probably do it for less than £15.

Spraying is taking a little longer than expected now. Picture probably won't be done until after Tuesday

Pictures of the tank cover...
Sorry it took so long... I haven't attached any of the straps to the bike as I didn't want to unscrew anything... you get the idea though :)

Likewise....I'll need to wait until I can shift my other SV...already dropped it down £100 and still no takers, even if it is damn low mileage! #-o
