SV650 SK5 2005 (05 Reg), Blue 16,000 miles

After nearly a year in my ownership my lovely bike is now for sale. I'm wanting the exact same bike, but in SV1000 guise ;)

- 2 Previous keepers
- 7 Months MOT (25/03/2011)
- 7 Months Tax (31/03/2011)
- Alpha Dot security (transferable to the new owner)
- Owners & Service manuals
- 2 keys
- V5 present
- Just under 16,000 from new with full service History
- New chain and both sprockets fitted with new tyres (Dunlop Roadsmarts) in March 2010 (Done approx 4000 miles)
- Genuine Lower Fairings with genuine fitting kit

Always garaged and lovingly washed with lambswool mitt and Zymol. Dry use only for commuting and fun and not a winter bike, though she still got a liberal coating of ACF-50.

Modifications :

- Black Stainless Steel Beowulf Round exhaust with removable baffle (never removed)
- Venhill Braided Brake Lines front and rear.

Original tail and original exhaust included in sale if desired.

Service History as follows:

- 4450 miles – 26/04/2006 (M&S Motorcycles, Newcastle
- 7154 miles – 20/06/2007 (M&S Motorcycles, Newcastle)
- 8060 miles – 30/03/2009 (Ian Bell Motorcycles, Bedlington)
- 11462 miles – 15/02/2010 (Serviced by myself with reciepts)
- 14752 miles – 30/06/2010 (Fluid change, again, self serviced)

Bad bits – I dropped it last year in my garage :( I could have cried. I was walking it backwards into its bay and my foot slipped and it toppled onto its right hand side. I did have a hold of the grab rail and handlebars and tried my hardest to slow its decent. Doing that ruined my back for about a week, but reduced the damage to minor scratching to mirror plastic, bar end, exhaust bracket and a small chip out of the fairings. There is a small scrape to bottom of right hand side engine case by previous owner. There are no cracks or other damage, and photos are below!

With this in mind, I'm asking £2000.

Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.

The bike is located in Scottish Borders, but can be delivered anywhere for the train fare home and the promise of a done deal!

Thanks! I've only advertised it on here at the moment. I'll extend it gradually, but it's only a train ride away! I've been totally honest in the expectation that there's no surprises!

Lovely looking bike, shame you're the other end of the country! Without meaning to sound critical, how many of the scuffs would have been reduced if the bike had crash mushrooms? Genuine question! Thanks

I think the only one I would have avoided would have been the fairing chip, even so, I've got off remarkably lightly!

Hi mate, good luck with the sale -- its a cracking deal but I've not got the cash yet and not likely until this kitchen is finished :(

What are you buying to replace it with out of interest?

cheers
