Heading to the AR from Portsmouth

We're heading up on Friday and staying through to Monday. Not sure of time or exact route yet.

Anyone thinking of leaving early friday via the A34 DON'T i am comming off the ferry in my bread van ( zafria cage) and will be going flat out from holidays and need to get back so i can get dump the rug rats and get to the site that afternoon

If your taking the first route, might see ya on the M4.
Fish Hill route looks more interesting though, might have to take that myself :p

I think it adds about 45 minutes over the motorway route. Then, because of the roundabout at the bottom of the hill, there's the obilgatory "let's do that again" option. :D

Was my thought, if taking the Mway route, was going to ask to tag along as its il be travelling the same way.

Scoobs and I will be heading to the AR on Friday 6/8. We will be departing Fareham @ 9am.

Stop and meet folks at Leigh Delemere Services on the M4 (circa 11am). Depart there at 11:30 and head to the site.

Fish hill is only good on the way up mate, having said that I have no idea if that means south or north? I've only ever been there following people.

Sounds good - we'll have to look at plans for Sunday and Sunday night then.

I've only hit Fish Hill the once and that was on the way back from Snowdonia. We went up hill after a roundabout outside Eavesham, so I reckon that has to be heading south. :D

Ride home on the Monday sounds like it's going to be fun already.
