Well hi people!

I'm from Stoke, currently riding a 2009 YBR125 I've had since new (March 09). Looking to get a curvy SV650S as my first big bike as I passed my A2 (restricted) test on Friday :)

Sat on a pointy today, couldnt get on with the position at all but the curvy fits me perfectly, and my budget! :D
Wish me luck!

well you might not have taste but thankfully your ergonomics saved you from buying the wrong sv (curvy's go faster ;) )
welcome to the org and enjoy your bikeing life

Yeah I just really didn't get on with it at all.

Mehh, I'm between Crewe and Stoke, but it's just easier to say I'm from Stoke (and was born there)! :)

PS: Gotta be a yellow curvy, everyone knows yellow is the quickest! haha

Just had a look at the AR10, looks good but I'm away with mates then. Maybe another time!

Anyone from bikerforum.co.uk here? I know at least one person is.

WElcome! I myself am still very much a Noob after only getting my bike the other week. I can oblackt echo the above sentiments really.I have been leeching as much knowledge as I can since joining. I now know that bikes have two wheels and most cars have four. Pretty much an expert now!

Good choice on the curvy. As with most things in life, why get a point when you can have some curves? HAppy riding!

Welcome to the org, sorry to hear of your affliction though. Given enough time you will get better and realise that pointies are the way forwards. :D

Good luck getting your bike, the SV is a fantastic bike, no matter what model you get, you will love it.

Surely looking at curves makes you get a pointy :smt003 In more way than one.
