3. March 2010, just after my first service.
2. Im trying, but not managed yet.
1. Everytime I go out on my bike, really started on the 13th March, the day I got my SV.
3. My sv the first week i had it, you can just about manage it in 6th whilst still running it in.
2. My sv in the first month I had it, pictures in my profile lol
1. The ride back from the peaks revenge ride out. Hot weather couple of friend... Sleeping bag held between my elbows, going at a good pace, then sat chatting for hours. It was awsome

3. Bandit 600 - about 2hrs after I bought it
2. Sorry - but IMHO this is NOT something to do on the open road - trackdays - a whole different ballgame (but I've never done either) !!
1. Every time I go out on a bike - no matter how long or short the journey
3. Yamaha RD400, May 1979 the moment it clocked over 1000 miles on the odometer I held the throttle wide open and didn't back off until the bike would go no faster - 115mph on the clock. I'd owned the bike 4 days.
2. Kawasaki AR125. Summer 1986 round the Goldington Rd gyratory system in Bedford (a big roundabout with an office block and car park in the middle). I was on a borrowed bike going to sign on the dole at the aforementioned office block. I had no knee sliders (no-one did in 1988 ) and wore a hole in the cheapo leather jeans I was wearing and burnt my knee.
1. Honda VF400F. Long weekend trip to St Tropez, September 1988 with the super-sexy 18 yr old ex Lisanne as pillion.

Copy of "a twist of the wrist" I have describes how you need to be careful where you put your knee down as the layers of gaffer tape only last so long and they need to last the full race! :smt003

3. Stan Stephens Stage 3 tuned TZR125 with YPVS October 1990 A55 to Bangor
2. Llandudno , around the Great Orme April 1991 on the above TZR , ruined a pair of Levi 501`s
1. Never been abroad but passing my test , buying the SV and giving it a great big handful for the first time ever being followed by 2 mates . A whole lot of years on 125`s and illegally riding bigger bikes just melted away in a strangely tranquil moment that faded into one of the most memorable days I have ever spent on a bike .
1/ 1983 April ( ish ) M67 ( downhill direction ) GS550E
2/ Track SV1000S was Rockingham June 08
2a/ Road SV1000S was just three weeks ago on Cat & Fiddle. A left hander which suprised the hell out of me because it something I don't try to do on the road.
3/ 1984 GS550EZ to South of France.

3. TBH I'm not sure if I got there but I sure came close on my CB500 on the M4 between Bridgend and Cardiff in July 2008. Close enough for it to 'count' for me.
2. Haven't, don't intend to unless on a trackday.
1. June 2009, riding around Mallorca on a Dragstar 250. Sun burned my arms, engine burned my legs, loved every minute.

1. The Ton. Early nineties GS750 with 1000cc engine, drag bars, n-eta 4-1, bikini fairing, no front brakes. Pestered my mate till he gave us a go. Was still on 125 and L-plates but 90mph did not feel fast. Wound it on till my helmet started to come off. 110mph on the A77. Job jobbed.
2. Kneedown. Firestorm. 10yr ago , Dams'road, flat camber left hander, back and forth with mates. Peg down, peg and knee down.....finally kneedown only. Jobs a good-un. Done it maybe twice since.
3. Early nineties, probably a few months after bagging the ton, Majorca, used all our spending money and some of our pals to leave a deposit on a TDM850 to hire. The big Jerry saw a motorcycle picture on the back of my license so was happy enough. and I had already had a few days hire on some small trailies. (DT80's:cool:)
Gorgeous, hot sun and blue sky, two-up tshirts and shorts, an island to explore, secret beaches to twisty mountain tarmac and a bike that overtook 5 cars in the one go!...............TDM850 rocket ship! Bliss!
