My wife has decided to watch Mary Poppins it's driving me mad #-oLooks like I'm off to the garage.
Its a classic! Im sad, id watch it.

How is it that the old school animation looks so much better than today's cgi blurriness?
I love the end of this bit where the cupboard and drawers are all squeaking, then the little cupboad gives one last squeak. Used to laugh at that when I was a kid :p

my mate knows all the words off by heart- not jsut the songs - the whole dialogue- he must have watched it over 200 times..
he is married !

I have the same problem whenever The Apprentice or I'm a So-Called Celebrity is on. For some reason such programmes make me want to throw things at the TV so I have to leave the room as my wife and daughter insist on watching them. Just means I get to watch Top Gear as a consequence and they have to leave the room.

At last someone with some sense. I like 'proper' musicals (Phamtom of the Opera etc) but can't stand Mary bloomin Poppins!!! I didn't realise a load of bikers would be into that kind of thing ;)

i have a rule in our house, basically i control the tv. therefore eastenders, corry and all that ****e are banned! the only time she can watch stuff like that is if im out :)
i feel this is fair to both parties concerned.
on the subject of mary poppins its ace darling, just fabulous ;)
