Hi all
Im Helen and a newbie to the forum.
At the moment I have a CBR125 but I am looking for my SV650. I have seen what I want but they have either been sold but are way over priced :(
I want a 2003+ bike, preferably blue, as that will mean me not having to buy any new leathers!!!
If anyone knows of any for sale please let me know :)
Look forward to being more involved in the forum.
Helen
Welcome to the madhouse.
Keep an eye out on the for sale section. And please, don't feel the need to colour code bikes & leathers. Get an SV and get out there.
And remember, 125cc are welcomed at the annual ride out. (http://forums.sv650.org/forumdisplay.php?f=167) In fact, we collected a couple on route a couple of years back, that funny.
It might be worth saying hello to your local group too. Where about in the world are you?

Welcome to the asylum.
Just for your information, the post '03 models are referred to as 'pointy' because of their more angular frame. So that's what you're looking for in the For Sale section.
I bought a pointy for my first big bike and it's great. Definitely recommended.
Keith.

Howdoo and welcome ;)
Welcome...
You really dont need to colour code the leathers... the right bike is more important than everything matching a colour scheme.
(Said by the girl with the yellow bike, blue lid, pink gloves...you get the picture?!)
And Really, you want a Curvy (pre03)- for they are the bestest and fastest... :P
Welcome to the mad house! :)

Hi Helen,
welcome to the org, one of the nicest and most friendly on the whole internet about SV motorcycles. :D
The pointy model is beautiful (I have a K3, the first of the pointies) and rides wonderfully well. You well find that some Heathen types will try to tell you that the earlier curvy model is better, just remember that they are heretics. Good luck with finding your bike and do get involved in the forum, it is a real giggle some days. ;-)

Next time your going, let me know and I will have a bimble over to meet you. doesn't matter to me if you ride or pillion, can still have a cuppa together :) be nice to put face to a name.
