Has anyone else just seen Top Gear and the outrageous comments hes just made about bikers? Anyone else think he does it just to get a reaction?

Plus, I never knew Hamster and Captain Slow were bikers......

Clarkson had to admit after a tour in Vietman where he first failed, then passed a test to ride a moped AND fell off giving himself gravel rash, that he, for the first time could understand why bikers were bikers.

He loved it and I know he's been on bikes since as well. It's like caravans and cars that have boots big enough for a set of golf clubs...it's part of his image to say he hates them :-)

Apart from two weeks of no TV, what have I missed?

Jeremy Clarkson has created a TV character that he plays to, when you see him on other things, such as QI for example, you catch glimpses of the real man, who is somewhat less of a character.

He is there to provoke, I seem to recall that he upset lorry drivers a while back by implying that they are all murderers. Face it, we love to hate him. ;-)

Well I just watched it on my HTC Hero on the BBC iplayer live view, alternately watching, chuckling and gazing at the sun setting over dover castle. Off to France in the morning, Top Gear is the only program the Sky plus is set for. Entertainment at its best.

Just wish the gulls would shut the feck up!

Happy holidays,

Pete and the gang ;)

If you believe the news then we are running out of water, fuel and air. Global warming is going to kill us. There's nasty people out there that want to do naughty things and the earth is going to crash and we are all going to die...

Apart from that I guess it's the same ol' same ol'.

Yeah, most (catholic) lorry drivers thought the women they were murdering were protestants.

I caught a glimpse of Top Gear tonight and I was loving Clarksons block of flats as he was driving to Cornwall!

Damm, I missed that as well.... Are you sure Lozzo, I mean with some half decent anticipation and planning an IAM member would have avoided an argument with you in the first place....;)

People getting 'offended' on the behalf of others.

How typical of modern day Britain.

Indeed.

I have never laughed so hard in my life when I witnessed him coming down that Mountain Road in Vietnam ...... on a Scooter , in the dark with a dodgy headlight , wearing a Purple Rockabilly suit in the pouring rain and yelling "I`m the most miserable Human being in the world" , I was crying with laughter on the settee for about 5 minutes and kept rewinding it for an extra Tickle .

LOL he is a superb entertainer. The way he was saying how he finally understood why bikers were bikers and then about 20 seconds later comes off.

And the Reliant Robin thing, I must have rewound the first crash half a dozen times before realizing it was going to happen every 30 seconds anyway.

That was the best episode ever, the first time in a while I have actually cried from laughing so much :smt003

Some people just seem to enjoy being offended - if Clarkson went all P.C. they'd have nothing to do all day.
