Doesnt do much to promote my city does it ;)
Liked the show, but...
Winson green is a sh1te hole and shouldnt be on camera,
Im sure i know or have met fat bloke who had head injury and kicked off outside shops, gotta feeling he drinks down the garrison pub on match day.
Thought the old bloke who had a grand and a lock knife was weird, he obviously wasnt a gangsta or anything,or was he? so 4 months a bit harsh maybe?
seemed excessive especially not too long ago that wouldnt have been an offence.

Is the top speed of a R1200 really 130mph???

I thought the same thoughour paramedics thought it was okay. Not sure if I'll watch it next week
where was biggers in the evo sorry wrong programme

Couple of years ago when I was buying and selling Mitsubishi Evos I'd regularly be driving about with up to 7K in cash in my pocket or glovebox. Years ago, when I was 24/25 I wouldn't go out to work as a van driver with less than 2K in my pocket just in case I found a bike or two I could turn a quick profit on. They'd be in the van and going home with me to be sold in the Sunday free paper that weekend.
I know plenty of people who walk around with upwards of 1k in their pocket at any one time.

I missed it - is this the Essex police bikers that are based in Chelmsford? Just wondered as I live near the HQ.

I had hoped that the programme might also feature some of the blood bikes i.e SERV or similar. Christ knows they've been going long enough and the publicity would help.
Thought the first one was OK. Joe Public want to see excitement, not training (unfortunately).
Cheers,

No but large panniers/luggage racks siren/horns and a dirty great mast to mount the blue lights cause a bit of drag.Even more important they cause strange handing problems like wallowing weaving and the odd tank slapper at high speeds. Many emergency services wont sanction their Pans to do more than 80 MPH for this reason.

The old blues villa derbys...
Im getting more and more disillusioned about crime though, did you notice at the end, 7 people arrested, non charged about the assault.
They were seen doing it and chased and caught by retail security staff
Clashes between us and the villa have always been violent encounters, not as bad as the 80's and early 90's though.
Good episode overall, i was gutted for the female bike copper, she looked to be doing well then dropped it, trouble with heavy bikes at slow speed, when they go, they need a lot of effort to save them.
My sprint is heavy going slow, especially with the wife on the back.
Mr Speirs
28-07-10, 09:32 PM
Yeah but they usually have to have a complaint before they can charge anyone, also you don't know whether the guy provoked the attack or merely stumbled after a mild altercation with the others...who knows.
Thought that whole new 20mph limit being enforced was just annoying.
Also why the hell did they arrest those pikeys in the van? Yeah they are pikeys and clearly dodgy but it was obvious they had no evidence and were never going to be able to stick a charge on them!!
It was like that other police show on BBC after last week.
They confiscated a crate of unopened beer off of a bunch of teenagers and then arrested one for obstructing them from confiscating the beer. The teenager got given his beer back and sent on his way.

True if he didnt make a complaint then i suppose they cant do a lot, probably a villa fan lol
The 20mph zone was stupid imo, you might as well park up and walk, i didnt see many 20mph signs on the film  31 in a 20 ffs, if everybody did 31 in that street they wouldnt be any issues so they knee jerk and lower it too much imo
Too much focus on speed not enough on poor driving and judgement.
Mr Speirs

I was saying that too, where are the 20mph signs? Didn't see any.

wot got me worked up was they were all respectable mothers on school runs and really sorry yet he just walk away laughing ffs then went on to talk about how he hates speeders cos of a knob doing a ton on his bike, losing it and killing himself!! hardly the same thing

Yeah, he annoyed me as well, that kind of blinkered outlook is why things wont change for the better.
I bet he would have a speed (not safety) camera on every corner and ban everybody who is 3 mph over.
Speed does kill but its not the only reason.

It had a nice section dedicated to the new fire bikes in Liverpool.
Any one watching this?
The bit about the funeral of Jane Wilson, killed on a road that i have frequented many times, i remember seeing about her death on a local news website the day after. It seems that she was a really nice person and what the police did for her funeral and the turnout was great. R.I.P Jane

Yep, just finished watching it, sad times for her family.
Hope i never have to attend a funeral of that nature.

I was at that funeral with Caddy, tremendous turnout Jane was a very nice person.
Ok, which one of you was it who got SV 1000 rear ended on the Aston Expressway then?
Shame, looked like a nice bike.

Just by way of a pointless addition to this thread. I have now met "Flymo" twice. Plus the one from last week with the Indian chap drunk in the bus shelter - where they called a taxi for him......
I rode past that whilst it was being filmed!! :D
Like I said....totally pointless post but thought would add it.

The editing of the bike sequence is all over the place. He starts one place, then is on the other side of the A38, then ends up just round the corner from where he started.

Big respect to the Essex bike cop when the tw*t pulled out into the outside lane for no reason forcing him to brake sharply, a lot of people Inc me would have probably panicked at that speed in the rain and grabbed a handful.
Thought he was too lenient on the driver tbh, he deserved a punishment especially being as he didn't seem to be taking it seriously, ****.
