Washing machine disaster and all my gear

Last night the washing machine blew the hot hose but we didn't realise until this morning. The garage was apparently like a steam room.

Other than the general nightmare, should I be concerned for the electrics on my bike, my boots leathers and helmet that all got a good nights worth of 'steam'

Nothing wrong with a good dosing in superheated steam, it should kill off all the bacteria lurking in your helmets/boots etc.

However if wet steam, eewww a breeding ground for all sorts of nasties.

Now the whole house smells of plaster and it's really warm and humid.

It's not nice :-(
