Lol makes me laugh...... they moan about it yet their houses back onto the motorway.....
lowing the speed limit will change nothing and a speed camera wouldn't be there for long before some one breaks it
i also like the way bikers are blamed, i actually use that road quite regularly thro the week as a normal car driver, i can say that apart from on tuesdays i never see bikes there, its usually your scooby goons and the toffs in there flash cars
it would probably annoy me slightly if i lived there but they wont change anything, cadnam has been like that since it was built its nothing new like they keep moaning about

50mph, 1st gear then...
The road does not warrant a speed camera anyway. 1 accident in 3 years..? Come on?

now come on scoobs........ we all know the real reasons camera's are put up
Anyway wont it have to be forward facing to catch your face? or is that required anymore?
And tlw.... you dont even have to break the speed limit to have fun there... 50's lovely for the bend

They obviously dont realise that the bikes dont go there for the boring straight bits, its the bendy bits at the ends that are the fun bit!! its a 70 limit at the moment, and i bet the majority arent doing much more than that along the long sweepy bit. Oh sorry, like the councillor says "well above the limit! more like 80! " a whole 10mph over! wow!!
Funny how they assume Speed = noise! so lowering the speed will make the road quieter for them??? Im afraid lowering the speed wont make my bike any quieter!! just means it will take me longer to get out of earshot of their house!!
Was only a matter of time, but like Gavin says, why buy a house by the motorway, and a busy road if you dont like to hear the traffic???
where will we go to scrub tyres in if they mess with the layout!!? haha

as some of you know we went through there on Tuesday after poole and all was normal. Passed through yesterday morning (cage related not bike) and the central grass strip is all coned off, there are big yellow temporary road signs on the grass saying 50mph max limit, there are "think bike" signs on these also and finally there is the new addition of speed camera warning signs at each end that were not there before, the speed camera signs are evidently permanent as they're on the directions sign posts and not on the temporary ones.
no signs of any road works started but there is the "narrow lanes sign" at the start of the cones so this could suggest they are planning some sort of work on the central grass bit or the inside lanes, either putting speed cameras or changing it in some way?

maybe they are putting an extra bend in to make it a better circuit!! lol
All of these measures still wont make my exhausts any quieter though!! lol hopefully they wont do too much to ruin it! 50 mph isnt too bad as its the bends that are the fun bits.
Thanks for the update Gavin!! might be a couple of weeks before im next round there, but at least ill be expecting change when i cruise round the bend.
