I have my now redundant 33bhp ECU restrictor for sale. I have no idea what year bikes it is compatable with, but it came with my K9 and has two connection plugs. Perfect working order obviously and looks like they all do! :)

I'm looking for £60 incl p+p...so long as mainland UK and not somewhere like Alaska!

Suziki quoted me £500 for an ECU restriction on a 2009 bike!!! As a youngen myself (sort of) it's a mine field getting the later model SV650s, do you buy one without the restriction - or get the restriction and hope you get the right bike!

I don't really understand the question!

This ECU definitely fits the 2009 model SV650 as it came out of my 2009 bike. It is a genuine Suzuki part also. I wouldn't spend £500 for it from Suzuki.

Let me ask you a real question, how do you fit the device?

Ah, sorry thought you wanted an answer to buying the bike first or the restriction first.

Dead easy, even for a complete spanner novice it will only take 5 mins.

2 allen key bolts to remove plastic side bits;
2 allen keys bolts to remove seat;
unplug existing ecu;
plug in restricted ecu;
replace seat, do up 2 allen key bolts;
replace plastic side bits, do up 2 allen key bolts.
