SO I will "hopefully" be doing my module 2 in the next couple of weeks.
Are there any tips that you guys would give me to help me pass?? :)

First and formost relax! It is like a ride with no on road maneuvers
Use your mirrors about every 5-10 secs
makes sure the gaps you have are big enough for two bikes
your instructor should tell you everything that can be asked question based
what bike will you be taking your test on

do NOT do this, you ride thinking for yourself ,forget about him following you its his look out to keep up with you, if you do the above you will get marked for not making progress and genral hesitation

Just think of the examiner as a satnav.
Also one of the things I got a minor for was road positioning (stay in the middle of your lane when you can), and undue hesitation because I stopped because of a parked car on my side of the road, to let a car on the other side pass. Examiner said I should have gone through the gap. That said, it's better to be over cautious than to take risks, so if you are faced with a 'gamble' situation, go for the minor rather than playing chicken with another vehicle¬!

don't mow down the examiner when he steps in front of you for the emergency stop.

Good luck! With the 2 module test these days, there tend to be quite a few mod 2 cancellations when people have booked both, but fail the mod 1, so keep calling!

damm, my local landlords favorite bull poo story about when he did his test on an ex GPO bantam, told to ride round the block and the examiner would step out, came round the corner to find his examiner rapped round the front of a GPO messengers bantam.

:) I would prefer that way rather than this new test system.
Hope they get rid of it in Autumn as they are thinking of.
Not that it will matter to me!

had a 150 bantam as my first road bike - remember that story many years ago - have a feeling it was based on "fact"

You've done the hard part, the module 1.
Module 2 is a steady safe progressive ride with an expensive satnav behind you.
Relax and remember, if you think you have made an error its only a minor, carry on and forget it.
Yeah Module2 really is the easy part, just treat it like it's a lesson and try not to let the nervs get to you.
I was actually followed by an examiner in a rented car which was very unusual, apparrently he had his bike in the garage. I think it helped because i didn't have anyone breathing down my neck, and i felt more relaxed for it - like i was out on a ride on my own, almost forgot him. I only got 3 minors 1 of which was change of speed, maybe you will get the same luck.
