Anyone going to be in or near Peterborough tomorrow?

Due to a Royal Mail cockup with my application (they lost it) I have to travel to the passport office tomorrow to get my passport renewed before our week away in August.
I'll be riding over from Beccles to get there for a 1pm appointment so I may have time to ride some good roads near by before I get there, and/or sit down for a coffee with any orgers who find themselves at a lose end.
My rear tyre will be fairly square by the time I get there so some good bends would be great.

Sorry Rich, would have loved to but cant get the kids on the bike :-( That and i've currently got the exhaust hanger and footrest hanger in the airing cupboard having been resprayed!!

I'm temped to suggest hooking up with you at Thetford, perhaps whizzing back along the A134, then cutting across to Downham Market and on to Wisbech. Need to put my bike back together and perhaps do it quite earlier.

Got a wedding to attend next weekend and we have to go shopping. Not that I don't enjoy spending time with my lovely wife, just when she spends all of our time together in a changing room.

Oh just seen thunderstorms forecast for tomorrow:(.....might have to keep an eye on that.

Just got the OK. Would like to be home for about 10:30ish. I guess if we meet about 9am somewhere in Thetford, you'd get the Peterborough by about 11:00.

But if the weather looks dodgy when I get up then no, so be prepared.

Sorry, yes it was today not Saturday. And I couldn't get the computer to connect to the internet this morning so I've only just checked in. I'd love to meet up tomorrow but I'm in charge of the children while mum goes shopping and they aren't quite ready for pillion yet.
It was a ****ty journey over. There had been a nasty crash on the A47 this side of Kings Lynn which looked to have involved a car and lorry and the tail back was massive. As a result I was 20 mins late for my appointed time at the passport office but the place was completely empty so luckily it didn't matter.
Never mind, job done
