I've just been through Sawtry and down towards Great Gidding in the car. They have resurfaced the road towards Great Gidding with that loose stoney stuff. The car tracks are quite clear but there is still alot of loose stones off line. :)

Seems to be a load of resurfacing in cambridgeshire. Makes for interesting riding that's for sure. Cheers for the heads up fella.

If only they would use decent tarmac. Warm tyres + new proper tarmac + on a biking route = Heaven. :D

Trouble is I bet there is a bit of thinking on the highways part - biking route + chipped surface = slower/no bikers :(

To be honest I wouldn't of been the best of company today. I had quite an important day today for reasons that will become clear in time to come. :)

Just a little update. I went up to Sawtry again but this time on the bike. Surface has cleared well and I was comfortable to do 60mph along the section that's been redone. :)
