Hi Folks, just passed in June, bought a shiny SV650 SK9, and dropped it on a roundabout in Bishopbriggs 3 and a half days later.:smt088
She's currently in the garage and I should be back on the road again at the weekend, albeit the best part of £700 lighter.
I've been browsing and posting on a few forums for the past couple of months but figured it was time to join the SV guys now that I'm part of the club.

Hello :salut:
#-o What did you damage?
Hi there, welcome. I do belive we have mutual friends, Quedos and IP :o
Welcome Welcome!!
I'm also in the mutual friends with Q and IP and Sunny!
Ride safe when you get your baby back...(If you'd have bought a curvy it'd never have happened)
How doo from evil roundabout laden Bishopbriggs!
At least it was only the bike that needed £700 worth of repairs!

right side fairings
rear brake level
bar end (that was bent awesomeness!)
scraped the exhaust not to bad
and a lot of battered pride
Thankfully - he was alright! done a good job on the fairings though

Hi folks, thanks for the welcome.
Mutual friends indeed, so much so I don't need to reply as Quedos can get in before me :D
I'm looking forward to getting back in the saddle and putting this down to experience 'the hard way'. I think some rideouts are in order as the only time I've spent with her has been by myself.
Garry, I've been quoted for bungs by Bill but I think I'm going to hold my horses until i recover from the cost of the damage (£700's no laughing matter in my house). A bit of a catch 22 I know, given that if I drop it again I might have to fork out the same kind of money again, but I'll get them soon.
How are you holding up anyway?

Gerbrox, I'll look out for you mate.
I'm seldom in Stepps but I'll be commuting on the bike via Bishopbriggs most days.
On saying that, I need to speak to someone at the Garfield in the next few days so I'll probably jump up on the bike on Saturday to do that.
