I think my bike may almost be 3 years old, but I can't seem to find out when the first MOT is due?

How do it do it, is it 3 years from date of first reg?

It is due by the date it was first registered, however can be done up to a month before that, so if you are unsure on the correct date get it booked in and as long as it is within the month of the date it will be future dated for the run out date.

Haven't you got the V5?

Yes got the V5 and luckily it is here at work, checked it and the bike was 3 yesterday. Been and got my first MOT, no advisories.

Actually, that is quite good planning. It means you can get a years road fund bought without specifically MOTing the bike first. as the road fund expires 31st July (Assuming it has been purchased annually since the bike was new)

Don't know if it will work on one that hasn't had an MOT but try this if you have the V5 to hand

Only works on one with an MOT...
