The N cable's steel elbow seems significantly shorter and I have a feeling this will relax the cable more when fitted compared to the S version.

Please do post a picture once fitted. I'm intrigued.

How much higher does the comfort kit make the bars? Does it alter their position in any other way?

I'm not sure as I haven't measured it but I would guess about 5 inches upwards and further back. You get a fair amount of adjustment to suit your body configuration.

It feels like you are riding a naked SV with a sports look. A mini sports tourer if you want.

That is exactly how I have my standard clutch cable routed on my kit?
