Tyres in Newcastle area?

Any suggestions for ride in ride out tyre places in Newcastle? My front decided to pop between home (Reading) and work (Newcastle upon Tyne). I know exactly where I would go in Reading, but have no idea as to decent tyre fitters in Newcastle. Thankfully breakdown company will pick the bike up and take it to a fitter!

There is Hunters on westgat road if it loose rims and will do as you wait if they are quiet.
or M&S fast fit which is pricey as a ride in but is 1 hour service

there is a tyrespot ride in ride out near gosforth park, or give newsham motorcycles a call and see what he can do for you

There is also North East Tyre services at Silverlink retail park on the A19/ A1056 junction

I use Ian Bells in Bedlington, have heard good reports about Newsham Motorcycles.

I'm going to go for Avon Storm 2 Ultras - I'll see if I can get a few more trips out of the back before it can be used as a set square!

WSB don't supply tyres, but I've had them fit them happily before.

I went to Tyre Spot in Gosforth and would recommend them. They used a torque wrench which is aways a good sign.
£95 for a front Avon Storm 2 Ultra ride in ride out.

I paid £90 for an Avon Storm 2 Ultra not fitted, so that seems like a right bargain!
