Your bike isn't too easy to spot at twilight either, when it's heading towards you with those light covers on. We crossed paths just before I turned left into the main road the Hall is on and thought to myself just how little of your bike is visible from the front when you don't have lights showing at that time of the day/night.

In those circumstances, Pete, I think safety needs to overcome aesthetics - it really was a little too dark to be riding without lights on at 9pm.

Hmm, I'm a little sorry that I drank too much strong cider on an empty stomach on Saturday evening and quit the party early . :smt030 But I was much sorrier on Sunday morning around 6am.

I'm sorry it's over and we only got one day to enjoy those excellent roads. Maybe next year I'll take Monday and Friday off so I can try to ride the route backwards on Sunday.

From what I can remember, even Mr Stretch was pretty leant over. The reason why it doesn't feel like it on a bike is due to the camber.
