View Full Version : R6 throttle tube - no cut or cut ?

ok so going to order a r6 throttle tube but some people cut them but on canyonchasers they say you dont need to cut them if fitting to gen1(n or s) or gen 2 naked but you do when fitting to a gen 2 S model
is this the case ? as some people still cut them even for the naked gen 2

thats more effort lol taking it in and out of the housing ins a pain

ok been over to svrider and they all say naked no cut and s cut as the throttle housing is different and like the curvy needs no cutting so i guess i will just stick it in and try it
should be able to see if its opening fully by looking at the throttle linkage ?

curvy no cut pointy naked no cut pointy S cut ;)
plus svrider isn't as good as hear so pfft :D
