Hi cornflakes,
I've never used the seat, so can't comment on the difference to stock.
I bought the seat along with a pillion one, i only wanted the pillion one, as one lot.
The rider seat doesn't fit a K4+ SV650, so after asking on the ORG which seat it might be, see thread http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=155406 , I think it's a lowered K3 one.
If we could compare mesurements on the seat hieght with your stock seat i'd be confident on it's suitability.
I'd be happy to take £20.00 for the seat + the cheapest postage available.
I would estimate the postage at no more than £10.00 pounds, so £30.00 total.
I'd very much like to ensure you recieve the seat which you require so if you are still interested PM me and we can proceed from there.:D

Pic as promised in PM.
Seat placed on a flat surface to measure.
Point A is 145mm high.
Point B is 86mm high.
Point C is 85mm high. This point is half way between A/B.
Point C however should be 10mm+ lower than a stock seat, presuming this is a lowered seat.
I’m sure both you and I would be disappointed if, once received, it turned out that this seat is a stock one, hence asking you to measure yours.

The two seats, yours and mine, are a very similar height.
Point A = 147mm
Point B = 87mm
Point C = 89mm (measured at 173mm from either end)
I bought my used K3 from a dealer 'as standard' but I can't guarantee that it is. After all I doubt if he actually knew. Either way your seat isn't goign to give the 10mm or so lowering that I'm looking for. Thanks for your trouble and good luck with the seat selling.
A bit info for anyone else looking to replace their pointy rider seat, the seat and side panels changed shape in 2007 so a 2007-on probably wont fit earlier versions.

The mystery deepens.:D
And good luck to you finding the right seat.
BTW you have put the height of the back of the seat at 147mm in the other thread.
