It's been a long time coming, one of the first trailers I got (and still have) on my 360 was the montage of action that concludes with:

"What's that stink, Eddie, you puke?"
"Ahhh naaaah, it must be Frankie Potts"
"Dat a**hole puked in your car?"
"Nah, he's in the trunk."

I was just having a go at saying that today as I was getting dressed this morning, 'dat azz hull puked in yower caaaaaah?'

I remember the demo for the first one was a 10 min jobby, i loved the original. i herd about tje second one back in 06 but they shelved it. its released at the end of the month isnt it? or have they put the date back again? might have been end of sept actually

Everyone probably wants it, probably. When I got Hydro Thunder the other week it crapped out about 80% through and then wouldn't restart as servers were overloaded.

i like it, the driving is a bit naff compared to the original but so far so good

i've just pre-ordered my copy for xbox, 36 quid........ apparently the PC version is meant to be better with better graphics and more customisable / mods ect and its only 24 quid but my PC wouldnt be able to run it i dont think

I dont think ill be getting it, Fable 3 on the other hand is a must, as is the new COD, and possibly Civ 5 if they release it for mac.

I'd put 21 hours into fable 2 before some sods came and robbed my house and literally stole everything of any value!
I never completed it (kept getting side tracked :) ) but I want to, just never got the motivation to go through all that gameplay again that I'd already done.
Fable 3 will be brilliant, I'm more looking forward to it than COD. Although remote controlled cars with bombs on for killstreaks? yes please.

Couldnt sleep so completed it last night lol, good game but i cant really see why its taken so long to make as the story isnt massivly long and some of the missions are unimaginative as they're similar to missions on the original

still the best game i've played in a long time, the ending was along the lines of what i predicted but with a twist, the world and environment is impressive as is the game play

I hadn't noticed but last night i saw there was no free roam option. so once you've completed it if you want to play it messing about you have to restart a chapter... massive let down, Wtf were they smoking when the decided to release the game, even the original has free roam :confused:

Nope and they said there would be due to the requests to make a multiplayer patch for the original. aparently they went bust whilst writting mafia 2 hence why it took so long, someone backed them a few years after but its like they've released an unfinished game as alot is missing

there is apparently donwloadable content due to be released.... bit of a let down

rented it, and completed it in a day (11hrs). was a good game but could have been better, no red dead. If they make another one it should be good as at least they have a good base with this one.

downloadable content has been released, a new mafia mission pack called jimmys vendetta: includes 30 new missions, new cars and cloths ect im downloading it now...... and 3 other car packs

I'm gonna wait for a definitive/GOTY/Ultimate edition Mafia 2, forget buying a game for £30 and having to spend another £30 to add in all the DLC to get what you should've had in the first place.

But i see what your saying, there is alot deliberatly missed out and there slap happy editing shows it, joe and others keeps telling you to go see the dock owner for work but and yet he never has any, same as the car breakers yard

Such is gaming these days, stuff gets deliberately cut and then either sold back to you later or held for new purchasers only as 'VIP content'. We're not at the end yet for the Mafia stuff, there's at least three mission add-ons as well as the new car/clothing packs all of which add up to a lorra wonga.
