Shouldn't it be "oh deer"? ;)

I have a terrible habbit of not really noticing the junk/guff in the shops and then panic buying the day before xmas eve.

Mulled wine spice is available all year up here as is the mulled wine itself - normally.
Hate the commercialism but love Christmas and the sparkly stuff!

That's just wrong. FFS. I love Christmas, I get properly excited, but I also want a ban on presents apart from me and Dan to eachother as I couldn't not buy him something..oh and the kids, I'd have to buy my nieces something.

Seriously, for me it's about having friends and family around you wherever you are and just enjoying each others company. I hope I can still have a housefull of org friends this year for Christmas dinner as that was one of my highlights. Oh.....and I have 4 ovens now, so no delays...lol ;-)

Never been a fan of Christmas, well not since in have sort of got older anyway. We dont have a big family, and the ones that are around never get together. My mu usually only gets chrsitmas day off as she works in Retail, and im usually in between christmas and new year etc, so to me its just like a bank holiday.

+1 viney. Im no scrooge but christmas is my least favourite time of the year and the greed drives me up the wall. I envy the critters who can hibernate through it. ;)

Saw this is my local shopping centre at lunch...I thought to myself no way, can't be putting decorations up this early!

Turns out it is some snow event and Eddie the Eagle will be in attendance...I think someone forgot to tell the organiser that it is August.

I had to approve a press release about Christmas party venues back in June. It was about 30 degrees outside and I really wasn't in the mood.
