View Full Version : Brake pedal & lever, clear lens indicator and black paint
Yup, I was wondering when it was going to happen so today was the day.
So far I have found wemoto.com which asks for £95 for the 3 pieces, delivered. Anywhere I can get these cheaper?
I would prefer Suzuki originals, even if they're used as long as they've never been bent or damaged in any way.
Also, where can I find the exact shade of black for my SV and where can I get a can of paint?
Found these on eBay. I like they're black and will look nice on the new handlebars. they're quite cheap and I was wondering if there if anyone tried them?

But... no touch up paint will ever match the exact colour... if you notice, there are a lot of blue and silver flecks in the black paint on your bike - that won't come out of a can!

Interestingly enough, the halfrauds sprays have the metallic sparkle in them even if I'm sure there aren't a 100% match and I'm talking about car paint.
Thanks for the links! I've ordered the indicator and front brake lever. The foot break pedal is quite expensive (£45+). Any idea where I can get it cheaper?

Not if you want it to look like OEM... Is wemoto at £45+ too? You could try breaker's yards, maybe? There's a thread somewhere on here with some links...
Otherwise, there's ebay but they're usually the foldable kind. Not sure how much they are.
Is yours broken or just bent?
Is just bent. I've found a patterned one on ebay for about £25. Any good?

Don't see why not. It's only a brake pedal...
If your brake pedal is only bent, it might be worth bending it back and keeping it as spare. Needs to be done carefully though so it doesn't snap!

Not trying to teach you to suck eggs or anything but if you are going to try bend the brake lever back put a bit of heat into it first, should help it not to snap.
Thanks for the tips. Never crossed my mind heating it.
The way it is bended now is not preventing it from doing its job, is just looking slightly misaligned with the rest of components. I think I will leave it as it is to be used for a spare next time (hopefully a long time from now).
