I was wondering how they compare to the OEM ones and if the black will worn away easily.

I had some similar and wasn't massively impressed with the black finish, looked a bit thin in places.

Bit the bullet in the end and went for a set of pazzos, worth every penny! :)

At £7.50 each I somehow doubt they've been lavish with the coating

Or the quality material...

They're about the same price as the OEM ones so I would hope the quality would be similar. I was curious if anyone actually seen them?

I got your message and appreciate it. You mentioned similar but I was hopping someone tried this particular model.

There are a few other black models which look dodgy in the pictures and somehow I assumed you were referring to them.

to be fair for that price, you could afford to replace them every 6 months if you wanted.

I bought some OEM style black ones for my Ducati, looks like similar way of coating them.

They are okay except my clutch lever has worn through the black in places, brake side is still black.

i had them. they are not anodised they are powder coated. they were fine for the price though (they never snapped). ooohhhh and the seller is not in Edinburgh he is in the states. things go missing in the post and he does not reply to emails so you pays your money you takes your chance.

Ohh... that probably explains why I haven't seen them around here. They look reasonable in the picture and seem to be powder coated, although advertised as anodised. I asked him about this last night but hasn't replied yet. Probably never will.

I've been in disputes with US sellers before and time difference only adds to the frustration when thing don't go very smooth.

he wont reply m8. ebay has been contacted buy numerous people regarding his location and they (surprise surprise) do nowt about it. to be fair though the leavers did arrive pretty quick and are quite good leavers. i was happy anyway. i'm ony telling you about the states and email thing so you know the score.

Added it to the wish list then. Ordered the OEM lever anyway because I need to take the bike out asap but will give these a try on the new handlebars later.

Thanks all for the info!

originals have a brass bush at the pivot... IIRC

I got some fresh off the boat from HK.

They perform perfect and look good but......

I got silver levers and black pivots to prevent any wear looking too bad in time as I expected they would.
I ordered the wrong ones originally because I couldn't find any that were specifically for K3> SV650
Had to buy a GSXR Clutch pertch to make the ones I got fit.
Adjustment is great to have but they are set as far out from the bar as they will go with my XL size glove hands.
The black pivots have faded in the summer sun to reveal the brass metal underneath.
I also had to make a bush to allow the clutch lever to fit the GSXR pivot.

For the money, they are not bad looks wise. Expect to replace them in a year if you dont like faded metal look.

Just save the money and but Titax or some other quality brand. i do this the next time. In my case, trying to do things cheap, cost me as much as top quality parts. Crap. :smt013
